COMMUNICATION – SOLUTIONS FOR INTEGRATED EDUCATION

Mountbatten Talking Electronic Brailler, a must for integrated education schools, teacher training institutes, libraries of colleges/ universities/ distance education education institutes, social welfare departments, institutions for the blind/ deaf blind, blind professionals or even blind children!.
It offers a number of features and benefits such as:
Works as an embosser when connected to a PC
Automatic translation of text to Braille when connected directly to a computer keyboard.
Automatic translation of Braille to text when connected directly to a regular printer.
An excellent assistive device for effective Two-way Communication between a sighted teacher not knowing braille and blind students.
How?
If the teacher does not know braille she can type exam papers, test sheets on a normal computer keyboard and it will automatically get translated into braille. Students can then type the answers on the braille keyboard of the MB Pro which will then be automatically translated into normal English text when connected to a standard printer so that the teacher can correct the same.
Since the MB Pro speaks out the braille that is typed, it is very helpful in teaching young blind children to learn braille as it announces the alphabets when the corresponding braille keys are pressed and can also read and correct the entire document.
It also has the facility to produce images from a computer into braille graphics i.e. pictures, diagrams, maps, etc., This enables you to help the child understand pictorial images of various objects and diagrams.
It has a memory of 650 pages of braille and works on mains AC power supply.
It has a choice of speaking functions like words, capital letters, space, margin release, numbers, volume control, etc.
