JAWS SCREEN READING SOFTWARE FOR BLIND:

JAWS is a blind user-friendly screen reading software, which converts a normal PC into a talking computer so that the blind can learn to operate the computer independently.

Connect Outloud is designed for the beginner to the experienced computer user to access the Internet through speech and Braille output.

MAGic MAGNIFICATION SOFTWARE WITH SPEECH FOR LOW VISION COMPUTER USERS

MAGic software includes print users manual, program CD-ROM and authorization diskette.

MAGic combines great magnification features with true low vision screen reading when purchased with the speech option. It gives you the ability to choose the information you want read from the screen as you navigate your applications. MAGic is easy to use with its talking large print installation, new color-coded user interface and hot keys that avoid conflicts with Windows® and popular software applications.

MAGic 8.0 is a Screen Magnification software with Speech.

The software magnifies the information the person chooses, from two times to 16 times its normal size. The smoothing feature eliminates jagged edges caused by bitmapping when images or characters are magnified on the screen.

With the speech option, MAGic 8.0 gives users the ability to choose information they want read from a computer screen as they navigate applications. MAGic reads the information aloud as users type it-either character-by-character or word-by-word, or they can move the mouse over existing text and hear it. The speech option is particularly helpful when listening to entire paragraphs, email or lengthy documents on the Internet. Speech can be used in conjunction with the magnification or independently.
